Old Watercolor
A watercolor, Robert Wood, was injured by flying glass scraping frames the artwork. Can it be restored?
I had no idea that the artist is famous. It is signed and, in 1929 and I am a rookie with the art. There is a painting. At a garage sale and loved the "old" look of it. The illustrations have been damaged in a stroke. Shattered glass and scraping the image of trees in the forest with a creek. I have no idea where to start.
You need to take part in an art restorer. In fact, the method of repair is only possible to fill in the scratched area with colored pencil (watercolor as burden to show the dry state). But it may also be impossible, may further undermine the value of what is now, and the cost of repair can not exceed the value of the image. Thus, it leads to an evaluator of art before the tutor.
