How can I find information on the art tiled box signed by JD?
I have a beautiful array of art tile market fish. I think it was made in a sheet of copper on the tiles. There are 5 tiles that are 11 "x11" each. It is within a framework that is 5'4 "long by 1" 8 "high. The tiles are made primarily in cobalt blue, turquoise and copper colors. The tiles represent a day in a fish market. It shows men carrying ship fish is weighed, packaged and ready for shipment. It is a beautiful work of art. It was signed in the lower right corner with just a JD. Any information would be appreciated. I think was purchased in CA and it was not cheap.
You can check your local library to see if they have a Guide prices for these items. (I could not find one in however web.) Your best option would be to take a renowned art dealer, antique shop or a local museum and see if they can help.
